# Switching from Evernote?

You loved what Evernote used to be. We built what it should have become.

## Three reasons to switch

### Your notes should be faster

Cimanote opens instantly. No spinners, no heavy desktop client. As a PWA it weighs under 5 MB, compared to Evernote’s 300+ MB native app.

### Your notes should be smarter

Evernote’s AI helps you search. Cimanote’s Knowledge Engine builds understanding - auto-generated entity pages, cross-notebook synthesis, and gap detection.

### Your notes should cost less

Evernote charges $14.99/mo for Personal. Cimanote is $6/mo, with a free year to start. No device limits on any plan.
